Little Bit Sick

Good Day! Well, at least I hope it is a good day for you. My house has been riddled with sickness, and I have not been able to play games as much as I would have hoped to this month. Lately, I have been hooked on Fallout 76. My husband played it for a couple of hours when it first came out, but I hadn’t felt the need to play. With the house being sick, I felt like it was an excellent game to start.

Destiny 2

In the last couple of days, I’ve been playing Destiny 2 and Fallout 76. Now, I believe the Destiny content is Teen rated, but Fallout is 18+. I don’t expect a lot of young players running to read the blog. But, I may not post those videos of Fallout 76.

Moming and Gaming

I have come to the honest realization that the mom phase will last a lot longer than the dad phase. At least that’s how I am feeling when it comes to being a mom and wanting to branch off back into my hobbies.

A Little Story

Since my husband and I share a lot of the same hobbies we have also started a collection of consoles and games. Of course, we started with what we could find, and have slowly worked our way to owning almost every console. Do you know how hard it is to find a Commodore 64?

Board Games

We like to unplug as a family by playing board games at least once a week. Now, this doesn’t always happen because some of us want to relax and do nothing. But, it is fun to play games like Settlers of Catan and Wackee Six as a family. You might say that’s boring. Well, when kids are young, you can’t expect them to sit in a room for hours talking about the next move you’re making in a DnD dungeon crawler. You have to start off small. My kids still have issues sitting still for Settlers of Catan.
